If I move to another city or state, can this program go with me?
Yes! However, your health plan and coverage may change.

Do I have to have Workers’ Compensation insurance?
The services offered to our clients are based upon an employment relationship, which in the majority of cases requires Workers’ Compensation insurance.

Will I still need to file a 941, UCT6, or pay quarterly tax deposits?
MyBackOffice clients receive year-end W-2 forms. Your employer-related deadlines and reports become the ESC’s responsibility as do certain other employer functions that are included in your agreement.

Am I permitted to make mid-year changes in my group insurance elections?
Under IRS, Section 125 regulation, you are permitted to make mid-year changes to your group insurance selections only if you experience a “qualifying event.” If you have experienced one of these events, you may make a change in your election within 31 days of the event.

Can I alter my wages?
Of course! Based on the advice of your CPA and personal circumstances, you may wish to increase your pay or give yourself a monthly or annual bonus. To make any changes in your status, simply e-mail your MBO assistant to make these changes.

Does this replace my current CPA or Financial Advisor?
No. MBO assumes responsibility for providing our clients with employer functions including payroll, workers’ compensation, benefits administration, and government reporting. Your bookkeeping-related deadlines and reports become the responsibility of the ESC.

Will this relationship affect my current tax status?
To the best of our knowledge, your corporate structure as a P.A., LLC, or otherwise is not affected by joining this program. However, we encourage you to seek the advice of your financial advisor in determining whether the MBO relationship is right for you.

Note from MyBackOffice Founder:

Unfortunately the Health Care reform Bill passed by Congress this past year has created the perfect storm. While there are clearly some very positive benefits to consumers in the bill they don’t come without a cost, a very steep cost to some.
